DMCA & Takedown
We respect copyright and the rights of individuals featured on this site. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used here without authorization, or if you are a subject of coverage requesting takedown, this page explains how to reach us.
Filing a DMCA notice
Send a written notice to contact@worstexever.wiki including:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with a URL on this site.
- Your contact information — address, phone number, email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Takedown by subjects of coverage
If you are a person covered by a page on this site — whether a perpetrator, a survivor, a family member, or otherwise — and you wish to request removal or correction, please contact us with verification of your identity. We will review every good-faith request.
Grounds we consider include:
- Factual inaccuracy (correction preferred over removal where possible)
- Privacy intrusion beyond what public record supports
- Legal status change (e.g. a conviction overturned on appeal)
- Risk to personal safety
Response time
Our commitment is to review and respond to DMCA notices and subject takedown requests within 10 business days of receipt.
Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address. Include the same identification details and a statement under penalty of perjury.
